Let us pray: Mighty One, our God, Giver of all life and Keeper of each, let peace be upon us now. Let your comfort and your mercy touch us where we need to be touched. Lift our eyes and our hearts to you, then challenge us to be bearers of peace and comfort, that joy would not make us smug and heartbreak not make us bitter Loving God, Giver of Grace, lead us into caring service in the name of Jesus, your Christ, who taught us to pray together. “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
